Complete New Stereo Soundboard Master Edition – Imported Original Pressing
A legendary all-star session featuring George Harrison, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, Taj Mahal, and Jesse Ed Davis — now available in a brand new stereo soundboard master complete edition!
Recorded live at the Palomino Club in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, on February 19, 1987, this historic jam captures an extraordinary night when these musical giants unexpectedly shared the stage. The performance began as a set by Grammy-winning blues legend Taj Mahal, before Harrison, Dylan, Fogerty, and Davis joined in one by one for an unforgettable spontaneous session.
Often referred to as the “Silver Wilburys” — a precursor to the Traveling Wilburys supergroup formed the following year — this fabled show has previously circulated only in incomplete CD versions or in degraded video quality. Now, for the first time, the full performance is restored from the original venue soundboard source, newly remixed and remastered into stereo for greatly enhanced clarity and presence.
George Harrison takes the stage early on, and by the sixth number, “Matchbox,” Bob Dylan joins in, followed soon after by John Fogerty leading “Knock on Wood.” What follows is an unplanned yet electrifying session, including “Proud Mary” (sung at Dylan’s suggestion), “Watching the River Flow,” “Peggy Sue,” Beatles-era classics like “Honey Don’t” and “Dizzy Miss Lizzy,” and a rousing finale of “Twist and Shout.” The casual banter between songs reveals a completely unrehearsed, free-spirited jam among legends.
A once-in-a-lifetime moment in rock history — now fully restored and preserved in the best-ever sound quality. A must-have collector’s title capturing a truly unrepeatable night!
