During the 1960s, studio recordings for The Beatles and their contemporaries relied on simple 2-track or 4-track setups. Overdubbing technology was still in its infancy, making mono the dominant format for vinyl and radio. The Beatles themselves focused primarily on mono mixes through the mid-'60s and rarely attended stereo mixing sessions. Legendary anecdotes recall how session masters for singles like "Love Me Do" and "She Loves You" were destroyed, making proper stereo mixing impossible at the time.

Today, advances in AI technology make it possible to perform digital analysis on mono tracks and overdubbed sources, splitting them into isolated multitracks to create true, authentic stereo mixes. This "demixing" technique gained massive attention through Peter Jackson’s Get Back documentary and the expanded Red and Blue album reissues, paving the way for unprecedented audio restorations.

UNSURPASSED DEMIX MASTERS compiles a carefully curated selection of reference audio from international restoration teams and collector archives alongside brand-new, premiering demixed tracks. Using cutting-edge separation, these stereo remixes do far more than split vocals and instruments into left and right channels—they isolate vocal harmonies into distinct tracks for John, Paul, and George, separate lead and rhythm guitars, and uncouple overdubbed choruses and individual instruments. The incredible detail of these multitrack reconstructions is instantly striking when listened to through headphones. Reborn with ultra-3D spatial clarity, this essential collection offers a fresh acoustic experience that unearths previously hidden sounds—an absolute must-hear for Beatles collectors!
