The Complete Christmas Collection – New Masters Edition from the DAP label brings together every Beatles Christmas-related recording from the 1960s, newly restored and remastered. From 1963 to 1969, The Beatles recorded annual Christmas messages for their fan club, issuing them as flexi-disc records. While these discs mainly included spoken greetings, the group’s playful spirit shows through—featuring humorous parodies of Christmas standards, spontaneous jams, and even unique original songs not heard anywhere else. For collectors, these recordings remain an essential and fascinating corner of the Beatles’ legacy.

In the UK, after the band’s breakup, all seven Christmas discs were compiled into a limited LP titled The Beatles’ Christmas Album. A different-jacket version was released in the U.S. as well, but both editions remain highly collectible and difficult to obtain. A modern 7-inch vinyl box set was eventually issued, yet these recordings have never been officially released on CD.

This new edition is an expanded and revised upgrade of the label’s earlier Christmas collection.
CD 1 opens with the only true Beatles Christmas song, “Christmas Time Is Here Again,” featuring a brand-new remix and the full-length version newly reconstructed in stereo from a demixed mono source. Following this is a series of Christmas song medleys that compile only the vocal performances—free of dialogue—creating an enjoyable, seamless listening experience. The latter half of the disc presents the complete, newly remastered fan club Christmas records from 1963 to 1969.

CD 2 assembles a chronological selection of additional Christmas-related material, including interviews, BBC broadcasts, and rare studio outtakes from the Christmas sessions. At the center of this disc is the complete reconstruction of Paul McCartney’s private 1965 Christmas album UNFORGETTABLE, featuring Paul as DJ introducing favorite tracks from Elvis, the Rolling Stones, and more—one of the most intriguing private recordings of the era.

This is the definitive 2025 edition compiling every Beatles Christmas recording from the 1960s—expertly restored, expanded, and presented in the highest quality to date.
