A rare collection of original British analog tape recordings from The Beatles’ historic 1965 album "Rubber Soul", a pivotal work in the band’s history, is now available on the BEATFILE label!
Recorded via direct transfer from the 8-track cartridge tapes and cassette tapes—both of which began production in the UK in 1970—the track order has been significantly rearranged due to time constraints, and two songs are even duplicated on the 8-track version. Not only does this collection offer the unique sound of analog tape—unavailable in remastered versions—but it’s also notable for the different mastering approaches: the cassette version features reversed left and right channels and a wider separation, resulting in a completely different sonic texture. This is a collector’s item featuring analog reissues that are now extremely difficult to find!
