"The Capitol Album Masters" series that reproduces the original analog master sound source of the American Capitol edited album, which has released albums with original content different from the UK since the 60's. This time, the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' ultimate best album "1962-1966" (commonly known as "red board") and "1967- 1970” (commonly known as “Aoban”) appeared as a newly edited expanded and revised expanded edition containing many additional sound sources. This project, which was released worldwide in 1973 as a chronological best album that summarizes the eight years from the debut of the Beatles to their dissolution, was produced under the leadership of Capitol in the United States and was released in each country with a common selection of songs worldwide. The sound source that was broken was based on the master owned by each country, so it was edited with different sound sources in each country around the world, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Unlike the current world-wide digital remaster, it contains many mix differences unique to analog masters, and especially the American Capitol record, which has been editing independently since the 1960s, is a pseudo-stereo duophonic sound source from a monaural sound source. ” and many stereo mixes different from the UK.In recent sound source research, it was found that a new stereo mix (separation with a different sound image than usual) was produced for Capitol's red and blue discs. It is attracting attention as a treasure trove of mix differences that are close to almost all songs. In this CD release, the Capitol Masters, which is characterized by a mix difference that is not included in the album, is selected and recorded in addition to the contents of the original song order. As a result, it is a new edited, enlarged and revised edition with more content, including single B-side songs and cover songs that have been omitted from the original song selection centered on single hits. . Additional recordings include a pseudo-stereo "Duophonic", a remixed sound source with reversed left and right separation produced for the album "Rock'n'Roll Music", which was similarly planned by Capitol, and an original mix. Capitol's unique edited sound source showcase, which is different from the current standard sound source, including the open reel sound source of "White Album" with a short edit version and the US version "Rarities" sound source, is a sound source collector. It is a convenient compilation that allows you to collectively verify the mix differences. Since its release in 1973, the Beatles have been popular all over the world. The best album Akaban Aoban, which has played a role as an introductory edition, is now available as an enlarged and revised edition that includes many additional sound sources. It is the latest collector's item from "The Capitol Album Masters", which is also attracting attention as a Beatles sound source research reference!
