　クラウス・マイネ、ルドルフ・シェンカー、そしてマイケル・マイケル・シェンカーのプロとしての記念すべき初のレコーディングです。デビューアルバム「LONESOME CROW」以前の1971年にシングル用に録音されながらリリースされなかった音源で、後にドイツのみのレアなコンピレーション盤に収録されたこともありましたが、それも入手困難。「Action」は歌詞がまだ完成していなかったじきのため、インスト・バージョンになっています。

　“SCORPIONSコレクションの聖杯”とさえ言える最レアな“THE HUNTERS”名義の７インチ・シングル（1975年リリース）です。プロデューサーのディーター・ダークスがバンドに試験的に録音させたTHE SWEETのカヴァー。ドイツ語詞とクラウトロックの香り漂うシンセが鮮烈です。

5. Speedy's Coming (Single Version - Remix/Edit 1976)
6. Surrender Love (Original Single Mix)
　ウリ・ジョン・ロート時代のシングル・トラック。「Speedy's Coming」は1976年シングルのみのリミックス・バージョンで、カウベルが控えめなど、アルバムテイクとは異なる仕上がりです。「Surrender Love」はオリジナル・シングル・バージョン。2001年リマスター盤や今回のデラックス・エディションでは、リヴァーブの施されたリミックス・バージョンでしたが、これこそがオリジナルです。

　もはや伝説となっている1980年の第１回MONSTERS OF ROCK。未CD化のライヴ３曲を復刻いたしました。

10. China White (European Version - Alternate Guitar Solo)
　ヨーロッパ盤とアメリカ盤ではルドルフのギター・ソロが違っていた「China White」。今回のデラックス・エディションやほとんどのコンピレーション盤にはUSバージョンが使用されていますが、こちらはヨーロッパ・バージョンです。

12. Passion Rules The Game (Long Version)
　「SAVAGE AMUSEMENT」時代のシングル・トラック。「Love On The Run」はベースも大暴れのラフ・ミックスで、「Passion Rules The Game」はアルバムよりも１分20秒も長いロング・バージョンです。

13. Is There Anybody There (Long Version - Re-Recorded 1989)
　「Is There Anybody There」の再録バージョン。ヨーロッパ盤の「BEST OF ROCKERS 'N' BALLADS」にも収録されましたが、こちらはシングルのみのロング・バージョン。

14. Wind Of Change (Russian/English Version)
　ロシア語と英語のミックスバージョン。「CRAZY WORLD」のデラックス・エディションにはロシア語バージョンも収録されましたが、これは２カ国語が混じっているレアバージョンです。

15. (Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame (Us Hidden Track)

　「FACE THE HEAT」時代のレアトラック。「(Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame」はエルヴィス・プレスリーのカヴァー曲で、アメリカ盤のみのシークレット・トラックでした。「Rubber Fucker」「Partners In Crime」はシングルのみのアルバム未収録曲。

18. No Pain No Gain (Remix/Edit With Die Fusball-Nationalmannschaft)
19. Under The Same Sun (Remix/Edit)
　1994年のワールド・カップ公式アルバム用にリミックスされた２曲。「No Pain No Gain」はドイツ代表のサッカー・チームのコーラスが追加されたビッグスケールの大合唱バージョンです。

【CD 2】
1. In Trance (Live Excl. Audience - Mexico City 23-03-1994)
2. Ave Maria No Morro (Studio Version)
　ライヴ・アルバム「LIVE BITES」のレアトラックです。「In Trance」はスタジオの再録にも聞こえますが、アルバムと同じライヴテイク。オーディエンスの歓声がなく、しかも30秒ほど長いバージョンです。アメリカ盤のプロモCDにのみ収録されており、そこでは「Studio Version」とされていました。
　「Ave Maria No Morro」は正真正銘のスタジオ・バージョン。シングルのみのレアトラックです。

　90年代でも人気の高い「PURE INSTINCT」制作時の未発表曲。「Just One You」は当時のベーシスト、ラルフ・リッカーマンのペンによる珍しくもドラマティックなバラードのアウトテイク。他３曲はシングル・トラックで、「Kiss Of Borrowed Time」はアルバム収録曲です。「When You Came Into My Life」はシンセを加え、一層感動的に仕上がったリアレンジ・バージョン（鳥肌級！）。「Stone In My Shoe」はライヴ。

　次は、SCORPIONS史上最大の問題作「EYE II EYE」時代。「Mind Power」「Start Me Up」はシングル・カップリングのアルバム未収録曲です。「To Be No.1」はシングルのみの約40秒長いロング・バージョン。シングルでは「Album Version」とクレジットされていますが、実は「Radio Edit」の方がアルバムに収録されていました。
　「A Moment In A Million Years」は、プロモーション・ビデオに使用されたバーション。元々アルバムもピアノによるアコースティックでしたが、こちらはアコギとストリングスを中心にじっくりと聴かせます。

11. New Horizons (Live - Moscow 06-09-2003)
　2003年９月６日モスクワでのライヴで新曲として披露されながら結局リリースされなかった未発表曲。結局、この日１度のみの演奏しかされていない激レア曲です。

12. The Song That Won't Go Away (Unreleased Unbreakable Outtake)
　「UNBREAKABLE」制作時の未発表曲で、後にドラマー、ジェムズ・コタックのソロでも再録されました。

13. You Are The Champion (With Michael Kleitman)
　QUEENのカヴァーで、マイケル・クレイットマンなる人物とのデュエット。2004年のシングルながらドイツ以外にはほとんど出回らかった貴重なテイク。

This is the version available only on the U.S. promotional 7-inch single. It was also used in the promotional film.

2. Hey You (Original Single Mix)
　This is the original single version. A remixed version was included on the 2001 remaster and Deluxe Edition.

3. Big City Nights (Remix 1989)
4. Is There Anybody There (Re-Recorded 1989)
　This is the remixed and re-recorded version included on the European edition of "Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads."

5. Tease Me Please Me (Live - London 13 January 1991)

8. Still Loving You (Radio Version - Remix/Edit 1992)

"Still Loving You" is the 1992 remix, presented here in its edited version, originally released exclusively as a single.

This track was included on the best-of album "Deadly Sting", and this is the edited version that was released only on a promotional CD.

12. You And I (Special Single Mix)
　This is a remixed version released exclusively as a single.

13. To Be No.1 (M.A.D. Mix)
14. To Be No.1 (Mousse T's Club Mix)
　A remix produced exclusively for clubs during the "Techno Scorpions" era, this version was released only on a promotional 12-inch. While many remixes of this kind are often created without direct involvement from the artist or label, this particular one was officially produced by the band's record company at the time.

15. When Love Kills Love (Studio Version)
This is the studio recording version of a track from the album "ACOUSTICA." It maintains the acoustic style and is a rare track that was released only as a single.

16. You Are The Champion (Instrumental)
　This is the instrumental version of the Queen cover, which is also included in the 2CD press edition of the album.

17. Humanity (Radio Edit - Incl. Orchestra)
This is the edit version available only on the promotional CD, which features an orchestral arrangement.
