This release captures Santana's performance at the outdoor “Miller Music Festival” in New York on July 9, 1985, using a previously unreleased soundboard recording leaked by a source involved. The nearly complete, top-quality soundboard recording captures the entire approximately two-and-a-half-hour set (only “Breaking Out” is missing). At the time, Santana had just released their first album in three years, Beyond Appearance. This is a precious, newly unearthed live recording from Santana's 1985 era, a time when the band had refreshed its lineup, resumed live activities, and would soon appear at the legendary Live Aid concert!
