Hot Space”, released in 1982, is now available in a 2CD & 1DVD set as the ninth installment of the ‘Expanded Collector's Edition’ series, Queen's ultimate in-depth album study! Following the 1980 album “The Game”, which recorded the number one hit in the U.S., the soundtrack for the movie “Flash Gordon”, and the first best album “Greatest Hits” in 1981, Queen's long-awaited new album “Hot Space” was released in 1982 and became a worldwide hit, followed by a successful world tour including South America. The first half of CD1 features the “Original Album Remixed and Remastered,” which includes the entire album in a revised and remastered version with meticulous sound editing. This is an alternate album that differs from the regular version. The second half of the album contains singles and remixes that were later released but not on the album, including the interesting album demos, the hard-to-find 12“ versions of ‘Stayin’ Power” and “Body Language,” and an unfinished early version of “Under Pressure” with David Bowie, “Feel the Pressure. The DVD also includes a rare mix of “Proof of Life” with Michael. The DVD is an “audio album” with lyric videos of all songs with real-time lyrics, and multi-audio selections include remastered stereo, 5.1 surround mixes, instrumental tracks, and vocal main tracks. Four different audio options are available to select and compare the remastered stereo, 5.1 surround mix, instrumental tracks, and vocal main tracks. The entire album can be played back in four different ways, including playing the instrumental tracks to enjoy karaoke along with the video, or checking out the songs and choruses in the vocal main tracks, where Freddie's vocals are the main focus and the performances are kept to a minimum. ” The “Video Collection” includes various versions of “Under Pressure,” a rare live TV performance of “Saturday Night Live,” a censored version of “Body Language,” and remixes made after the 1990s. and “Body Language”, as well as remixes from the 1990s onward.
