Originally released in 1995 in select regions such as Europe and Australia, Exodus, the second album by NPG (New Power Generation), was once out of print before being reintroduced into the catalog. While Prince participated under the alias Tora Tora as a band member, the album was largely driven by his vision—from concept and composition to performance—featuring everything from funk tracks like Get Wild to pop-infused songs, making it a hidden gem on par with his solo albums.
The album’s journey was anything but straightforward, with several tracks being shelved and the final tracklist undergoing significant changes. Now, the album has been completely reimagined with remixes, remastering, and a fresh sequence, transforming it into something entirely new.
Titled The Best Exodus Alternatives, this enhanced and expanded version is a super-cool revision that redefines the original. A must-hear collector’s edition for all Prince fans!
