From Paul McCartney’s rare surprise shows—which first drew attention with his 1991 “Unplugged” album—the performance held on July 19, 1991, at West Cliff-on-Sea in Southend, UK, is now available as a complete, newly remastered concert recording in a “Complete Edition” released by the BEATFILE label!
These surprise shows, held at small venues just six times across the UK and Europe at the time, featured two distinct sets—one acoustic and one electric (Unplugged and Plugged)—and this particular performance also included a poetry reading by renowned British poet Adrian Mitchell, making it a truly special surprise show. Although recorded from the audience at the time, this Complete Edition has been upgraded with the latest remastering!
