Released in 2001, Invincible was the final original album released during Michael Jackson’s lifetime. With a massive production budget of $30 million—making it the most expensive album ever made—it took nearly six years to complete and involved over 100 musicians, including guest appearances by The Notorious B.I.G., Fats, Slash, and Santana.
Although the album debuted at No. 1 in the US and topped charts worldwide, a world tour to promote it never materialized due to friction with his record label. "You Rock My World" and "Cry" were released as official singles, while "Speechless," "Butterflies," and "Unbreakable" saw limited promotional single releases.

CD 1: Contains the entire Invincible album in alternate versions, including single edits and promo remixes. As a bonus, it features the Spanish version of "What More Can I Give"—a charity track recorded with an all-star lineup in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001—as well as "One More Chance," his final single released during his lifetime in 2003.

Reflecting the vast amount of time and money invested in the album's production, numerous leftover songs and uncompleted demos were left behind. This disc includes rare unreleased tracks and unfinished demos—such as the original versions of "Xscape," "A Place with No Name," and "The Way You Love Me" (which were released posthumously), along with "Another Day" featuring Lenny Kravitz, and "Seeing Voices" featuring the Ray Charles Choir—all compiled in the latest upgraded audio quality, including recently leaked sources.
