To commemorate the launch of Metallica’s dedicated SiriusXM satellite radio channel “Maximum Metallica”, the band performed a special show on August 28, 2025, under a tent set up behind The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York. Broadcast live on SiriusXM, this exclusive concert—attended by only 500 lucky fans—was captured in flawless stereo soundboard quality. The event also drew attention when VIPs such as Paul McCartney made appearances.
As a bonus, this release also includes the complete July 5 “Back to the Beginning” performance, another highly talked-about special show. Since both concerts took place between tour dates, they were not added to the official LiveMetallica catalog, making these exceptional soundboard recordings rare and essential items for collectors.
