Linda Ronstadt is a legendary singer recognized as the quintessential queen of '70s West Coast music. THE EARLY YEARS: VIDEO ANTHOLOGY 1 (TV ARCHIVES 1968–1976) marks the debut of a video collection featuring over 3 hours of surviving TV appearances and live performances in chronological order, spanning from her 1968 debut with the Stone Poneys to her rise to the top of the US charts in 1976.

Starting with a fresh-faced Linda in her first-ever TV appearance with the Stone Poneys in '68, the collection is loaded with era-specific rarities—including rare collaborations with figures like Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Neil Diamond, and Cher, alongside unique cover tracks performed almost exclusively on these television broadcasts. Her 1974 Don Kirshner's Rock Concert appearance features her main-headliner show, including a performance with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band rather than the more frequently seen guest spots with the Eagles.

The set also includes complete segments from her multiple appearances on The Midnight Special between 1972 and 1975, a rare live performance of her first #1 US single, "You're No Good," and her very first collaboration with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris—a union that would later evolve into the iconic Trio project. While some of this footage previously circulated on low-quality VHS bootlegs, this essential remastered collection utilizes meticulously selected source materials restored to deliver top-tier audio and visual quality. This is the first installment in the video series from the ETERNALVISION label, capturing the full charm of early Linda Ronstadt.
