John McLaughlin's rare live soundboard recordings newly unearthed!
Previously known only as the four tracks broadcasted at the time, this is the long-awaited complete version.
This is the first complete 2-disc set of the Suaden Umeo Jazz Festival, featuring the trio of Joey DeFrancesco, an organist who played with Miles Davis and also played trumpet, and Dennis Chambers, a drummer who played in the Parliament/Funkadelic (P-Funk) band, as the “Free Spirits”. This is a remarkable soundboard live recording of a rare stage performance as “Free Spirits”!
