GEORGE MARTIN - THE BEATLE TRACKS ANTHOLOGY (2CDR)

Introducing an essential best-of anthology gathering Beatles songs arranged and performed by George Martin!

Parallel to his work producing The Beatles throughout the 1960s, Martin released his own recordings as The George Martin Orchestra. This collection gathers those Beatles covers in chronological order.

Highlights include recording the iconic "Yesterday" under its working title, "Scrambled Eggs." These authentic orchestral arrangements by the fifth Beatle himself stand miles apart from ordinary instrumental covers, delivering top-tier 1960s lounge music.

From two selections off Paul McCartney’s debut soundtrack work The Family Way to "By George (The David Frost Theme)"—which The Beatles famously teased right before performing "Hey Jude" on television—this highly recommended memorial anthology brings together the definitive 1960s output of The George Martin Orchestra!
