Solo Years Anthology: Tracing the Beatles’ Post-Breakup Journeys
A chronological journey through the solo careers of all four Beatles after their breakup in the 1970s, Solo Years Anthology is a unique compilation featuring rare and hard-to-find recordings. Unlike standard best-of albums, this collection is filled with non-commercial promotional singles and unreleased versions, offering a deep dive for dedicated fans.
The George Harrison edition begins with an introduction by George himself, followed by an early take of My Sweet Lord and a demo of I’ll Still Love You, a song he wrote for Ringo Starr. It also includes promotional mono and edited versions of George’s 1970s hit singles, such as Bangla Desh, Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth), Dark Horse, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, You, and This Song—versions that were previously only available on promotional singles.
Additionally, the collection features three live recordings from George’s only U.S. tour in the 1970s, as well as three demos that were first revealed in the limited-edition book Songs by George Harrison. With rare, limited-release, and never-before-on-CD tracks, this anthology is a must-have collection that captures George Harrison’s journey in the post-Beatles era.
