ELTON JOHN - BOLOGNA 1973

A complete recording of the April 14 show in Bologna, Italy, from Elton John's 1973 European tour, recorded from an audience recording master of fairly good quality for the time.

Elton was at the height of his popularity with the hit singles "Crocodile Rock" and "Daniel. The album "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (October 73) had not yet been released at this point, but the setlist is also noteworthy as the famous song "Candle in the Wind" was already performed live at this time.

Also, the cover of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" is not to be missed. The live performance of "Eln 73" is now considered a rare live recording!
