David Bowie’s November 18, 1974 concert at the Spectrum in Philadelphia from the legendary “Soul/Philly Dogs Tour” makes its very first appearance, sourced from a newly unearthed high-quality audience recording master!
Originally conceived as the large-scale, theatrical “Diamond Dogs Tour”, the production was abruptly altered mid-tour with a revised setlist. At this stage, songs from the upcoming album Young Americans were introduced, giving the performances a stronger Philly Soul flavor in line with the tour’s new direction.
Since hardly any high-quality recordings from this period have been available until now, this newly discovered live source is a truly noteworthy release for Bowie fans.
