The March 8 & 9 Budokan shows from Bowie's last “Reality Japan Tour” in Japan in 2004 were recorded in their entirety from high-definition audience camera masters.
The two Budokan shows are now back in their best quality as the latest version in 2016, re-edited from the original, HD-converted recording with no degradation from the SD quality of the time, and the almost mono sound source replaced with another stereo master source full of realistic sensation. The new version also includes a documentary of the tour, which was shown exclusively via webcast at the time. The 24-minute documentary includes footage of the Budokan backstage, fans, the bullet train ride, and live performance scenes. This is a must-have video collector's item for fans of the band's last Budokan performance, which is now considered legendary!
