CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY
- THE BIG THING
Long-awaited re-release of the best-selling item!
This is the first time that a collection of rare and historical live recordings of Chicago, one of the most popular American bands of all time, has been released!
After performing as "The Big Thing", the band changed its name to "Chicago Transit Authority" in 1968 and made its debut album in May and June 1968. The album includes board and staff recordings from club gigs at Milwaukee Barnaby's in May and June 1968 and Los Angeles' It's a Mose in September 1968.
It is interesting to note that the band has already played original songs, but the wide repertoire of covers of The Beatles' "Lady Madonna," "I'll Be Back," "Sargent Peppers," etc., Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Motown, R&R, etc., shows the band's already strong capabilities, making this a truly valuable historical find! This is a live recording!
