"Carpenters/At the BBC 1971-1976" CD & DVD special collection that summarizes the images of the Carpenters broadcast on BBC TV in the 70's. On the CD, the BBC studio live at the time of the first appearance in 1971 was made into a CD for the first time with the latest stereo remaster complete version. This commemorative BBCTV show has been rebroadcast and recorded on DVD, but the CD contains the complete version as it was broadcast at that time. The content includes two songs by Tony Joe White that have been cut in the rebroadcast, and the original broadcast is monaural, but when it is made into a CD, it is recorded in a stereo version using the latest AI technology. It is the latest remastered sound source that has been reborn with high sound quality, coupled with a performance that Karen's vocals stand out more and has increased three-dimensionality. The DVD includes the 1971 BBC Studio Live and 1976 New London Theater performances based on the HD quality video source from the BBC rebroadcast master. In addition, the DVD extra includes "Close to You" on BBCTV's Top of the Pops broadcast and documentaries that have been broadcast on BBCTV so far. A valuable video collection including unpublished in Japan is additionally recorded.
