In April 2026, the legendary rock band “CACTUS,” led by Carmine Appice, performed a one-night-only special gig featuring a host of star-studded guests! This concert, held on April 3 at the Alcaida Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois, to celebrate the release of their new album *Temple of the Blues II*, is fully captured here from a soundboard-quality audience recording master. Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG, THE WINERY DOGS), Eric Gales, Doug Aldrich (WHITESNAKE, DIO), Pat Travers, Tony Franklin (THE FIRM, BLUE MURDER), Doug Penick (KING'S X), Ron “Bumblefoot” Searle (GUNS N' ROSES, ASIA, SONS OF APOLLO), and many other guests joined the band to perform songs from the 1970s ‘CACTUS’ era, blues covers from their new album, Jimi Hendrix covers, and even the global hit “I'm Sexy,” which Apis co-wrote with Rod Stewart. This is the latest live performance by “CACTUS,” featuring Carmine Apice, who was active from the 1960s Vanilla Fudge era through the mid-1970s Beck Bogard & Apice era, and has now reunited with a new lineup!
