Brand X, a jazz-rock band formed in the mid-70s by Phil Collins of Genesis, Percy Jones, John Goodsal, and other famous members, has released a newly discovered live recording!

The second night and late show on September 22nd was recorded from the legendary taper Mike Millard's master recording from the Roxy in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where the band played 6 shows over 3 days from September 21-23, 1979.

The last late show on the 23rd has been officially released, and Mike Millard's recordings of the first two shows on the 21st are also known, but this is the first time they have been released, and of course, they are of superb quality, comparable to soundboard recordings.

Two extra tracks from the September 28 show in Toronto, Canada after the Roxy are also included, both from rare audience recordings.

Also included is a live studio performance on BBCTV's "Old Grey Whistle Test" on October 9 after the North American tour. This is a collector's item that includes rare recordings from the only TV broadcast that Brand X appeared on at the time, as well as a collection of rare live recordings from the short time that Phil Collins was with the band.
