On July 23, 2011, she suddenly passed away. In honor of her genius, we are releasing a memorial album.
Her debut album "Frank" was an instant hit in 2003, and her second album "Back to Black," which was her debut in Japan, won five Grammy Awards including Best New Artist in 2008. Unfortunately, she has only released two original albums.
This compilation album contains a selection of acoustic, alternate, and live versions of her songs that have never been recorded on an original album, and is now an extremely rare and permanent collection. We regret her untimely death, but we hope you will be able to feel and receive her message from her many remaining recordings.
